We all know there’s no handbook on parenting or caregiving.
We all know kids sometimes do things that they have no business doing; as a former teen mom, I can strongly attest to this.
Now, I know when you hear this you will shake your head and throw some rage comments my way and tell me how I’m absurd I’m being and what my kid is doing is totally normal and that I have nothing to worry about and yeah yeah I a boy in her class.
I know at her age this is normal, this is probably the typical age when kids start to feel an attraction or fondness for other kids.
I don’t know if you knew, but it goes down in fifth grade, from the DMs to school hallways.
You only live childhood once, learn knew things and don't go over dramatizing things. My daughter was 11 when she went to her first school dance.I put on a brave face as she got out of the car in her polka-dot dress (with a denim jacket for her signature swagger). But what I really wanted to say as she disappeared into the crowd of sixth-grade bravado was, "Wait—come back! There's no point."Certainly a small minority of middle schoolers are having sex, and another small group pays no attention to the whole crush thing. Not every kid is experiencing romance in the same way.
