The service deployed via CAS server role, the outlook client 2007 will discover the availability service via Autodiscover.I have seen troubles when single certificate is being used for exchange 2007 server with CAS and ISA 2006.As most of us know Free/Busy information is stored in a system public folder called SCHEDULE FREE BUSY which is replicated to all exchange servers setup as a public folder replica server.SCHEDULE FREE BUSY contains subfolders for each exchange administrative group. Its two functions are:- Publishing free/busy data - Deleting duplicate free/busy messages In Exchange 2007 the availability service on the client access server has taken over the role of public folders.Outlook clients find out which is their local client access server using autodiscover.
We have contacted Microsoft about this and This will also prevent direct GAL lookups.
It does not support setting server-side rules to move or manage messages and contacts or to act on calendar events.
That means that all rules created in Outlook 2011 will be applied only when Outlook 2011 is running.
Here we go again with another Microsoft Exchange 2007 piece.
Luckily I am finished with my Exchange 2007 project, so I can get back to wrting a little.
